GAMING SINCE PONG

Anyone know of a way I can play cod4 in a window rather than full screen?
For specing, or playing when it's empty. Be good to be able to watch some movies or something while I wait for a population, or monitor perk abuse

Bring down the console and type "r_fullscreen 0" and then "vid_restart" for a temporary windowed setting.

If you would like to do it so every time you load the game it's windowed, either add seta r_fullscreen "0" to a shortcut (this way you could have a shortcut for windowed, and a regular shortcut) or go to your player config file and change the r_fullscreen value to 0 and save the config.

i could be wrong but i think in the graphics settings in game there is a command to run in window or run in full screen. i might be thinking of another game, but for most games ive played theres usually a check box for that setting in options.
