Well i have a 4850 OC'ed to 750/1100, awesome little card.

If anyone has one of these and needs help doing so, let me know.

I have OC'ed every PC i have ever owned.

I use to run my own computer business for 2-4 years and i helped so many with overclocking their computers and fixing various issues with PC's.

Post away if you need any help with anything or PM me.

Likw in every computer OC whether it is a video card or CPU everyone can/will be different in OCing, but on average a GT can be pushed with proper cooling 24/7 daily usage to around 700-740 range. Again cooling is the biggest factor in ocing componets, but you can get a dud as well and never OC high.

Anymore OCing above 740 is a give and take issue .... as more ocing can lead to artifacting in games and 3dmarks.

As for the shader OC 1728 to 1760 range is pushing it.

And as for the memory 800-950 is pushing it and 1000 is really pushing it.

When i had a 8800 GTS 320mb card i used Rivatuner to OC it, i forget the speeds at the moment, but it was around 650-680 range, but it was stock cooling and i used artic silver on the memory chips and core to help with cooling and it only dropped 5C, but more the better. I ran it 24/7 for 4 months before selling it.

Yeah the XXX versions can do higher for a daily usage, but not all non XXX version will do 800 core.

When pre-overclocked cards are sold they have a different bios and voltage requirements. Therefore they can go higher by natural overclocking, but the lower ones not all or shall i say not a whole lot can do that high.

My 4850 for example many have them at 800-900 on the core, but i can't for the life of me with a volt mod get it stable at 800.
