Apparently there is a problem with Vista and COD4 Multiplayer. I am still trying to get it resolved. I know there are issues with the sound in various PC's so I am searching there.

Has anyone else seen this? Single player works perfectly.

I'm running Vista 64-bit Ultimate and haven't had any issues lately. I did have a lot of driver problems and probably spent the better part of a day running around to the various manufacturers and getting the latest drivers. Most of mine were the video card (dual nVidia 8800GTs), and my on board ethernet drivers.

I figured it out. I have to plug in a microphone for it to work.

So weird.
